It is so funneh! The first time I saw "NOM" on an lolcat pic, I laughed so hard and thought it was so cyoot! Nom just seems to be an appropriate word to describe the sound kittehs make when eating. Funnier than "munch," "chew" or "eat" when used as verbs.
